Happy news! Starting from March 20 North America has been playing the now shipped S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl! Players in Europe and ex-USSR are about to start playing too in just a couple of days.

A new portion of artworks coming from the game fans has been placed in the Files section.

The new section "Literature" of our site contains the stories from our literature contest, which you know and love.
We wish you pleasant reading and immersion into the world of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl".

While the game is in print and impatient fans scour the Net in search of blogs of similarly impatient journalists, giving out spoilers, we suggest you spend some time contemplating a new set of screenshots.

We are pleased to announce that the game has gone to print! The project developed by GSC Game World over 5 long years has finally crossed the finish line.

We are sure that many of those, who discover the world of the Zone will "come down" with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for a long time. Soon anyone will be able to explore the world of the technological catastrophe and the unsolved mystery. Mutants, monsters and anomalies, enemies and comrades, dangerous fights and exciting missions await you!

Good news! FilePlanet has opened the beta trials of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. today! Owners of the activation keys are encouraged to try out the multiplayer version of the game. Enjoy!
