29 July 2008 Clear SkyVoodoo Extreme a well-known web-site named the winners of ""Best of E3 2008" awards. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky was awarded "Best Graphics".
Clear Sky's technological feature set is extremely impressive as well and the demo looked absolutely fabulous.

Also S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky became one of the finalists in the "IGN's PC Best of E3 2008 Awards" in nomination "Best First-Person Shooter".
It's key to note that all three nominees for the best PC shooter of E3 have one thing in common: they are all essentially sandbox games that let you tackle a situation any way you want. That's a sign of just how far the FPS genre has evolved from its days of narrowly linear, highly-scripted gameplay.
